Cutoff distances are not formal catchment areas: some schools use priority-area maps, faith or test criteria instead. Straight-line estimate from postcode centre; siblings and priority groups come first. We hold cutoff data for a growing set of local authorities. A school we can't check on distance is still listed, with the reason: the council publishes no cutoff, places aren't decided by distance, or we haven't harvested it yet.
