Refunds and cancellation
Last updated 13 August 2026. How the season pass works, your cancellation rights, and how to get in touch.
1. What you are buying
The SchoolFacts season pass is a digital service: it gives your account access to premium features for 6 months from purchase, for £19 at the current price. Payment is handled securely by Stripe; your contract is with Varcombe Ventures Limited (company no. 17394715).
2. Your 14-day cancellation right
If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from purchase to cancel for any reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
3. If you cancel within 14 days
Premium unlocks as soon as you buy, so by purchasing you ask us to begin the service straight away. You can still cancel within the 14-day period: just email us. If you have not used premium, we refund you in full. If you have used it, we may keep a proportionate amount for the time you had access and refund the rest. Refunds go back to your original payment method, normally within 14 days of us accepting the cancellation.
4. After the 14 days
After the 14-day period the pass runs for its 6 months term and is not refundable for a change of mind. The pass does not renew automatically: access simply ends when the term expires, and you are free to buy another pass.
5. If something is wrong
If premium is faulty or not as described, you are entitled under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to have it put right, or to a refund or price reduction. Email info@varcombeventures.com and we will sort it out.
6. How to cancel or ask for a refund
Email info@varcombeventures.com from your account email address (or tell us your account email). You are welcome to use this wording: "I cancel my SchoolFacts season pass purchased on [date] for [email]." We will confirm by email.
